| Welcome to
Breezewood Dobermans and Twelve Oaks Farm, the home of Greg
and Shannon Merck in Midland Virginia where they reside on 16
acres with six Dobermans, two horses and a cat. |
| In 1988 the
Merck's' purchased their first black show male which they showed
in the Obedience Class. After receiving his "Companion Dog" title the Merck's purchased a
black show bitch. Starting in the breed ring in 1992, while also
showing in obedience, the Merck's became involved in agility and
tracking. It was at that point the Merck's' realized they would
always have a lifetime commitment to the Doberman. |
| The real success
started in 2003 for the Merck's' when they purchased two
Paradigm Dobermans. A black show bitch recognized as
"Champion" at 11
months, and a red show male recognized as "Champion" at 10 months. At 13
months the red show male received his first of many "Best In
Show" placements. He was the
recipient of multiple "Best In Specialty" show
wins and passed his "Working Aptitude Evaluation" on the first
examination. |
| Greg and Shannon
would like to thank Mike Penny for entrusting them in becoming
conscientious breeders, dedicated to improving the breed for
conformation, obedience, agility and for temperament. |
